Quick note to self... when using the fancy schmancy new immersion blender, remember to remove the bay leaf before blending...


  1. Note to self: do /not/ read Eco Cat Lady's blog while sipping evening beverage. Unless you want to spend much of the evening mopping the laptop.

  2. yeah, those bay leaves will get you into trouble if you forget they are there. Better luck next time. Hope you are having a GREAT day!

    Off topic, but I FINALLY learned to make a good red sauce. An Italian pal taught me an easy sauce that starts with a hunk of pancetta, then gets finished off with a few dashes of red pepper flakes. By far, the best sauce I have ever had. And now I am feeling confident for the homemade sauce making I plan to do this summer!
